The December 2025 Graduation Ceremony marked a major milestone in the academic journey of our students at Konoin Technical Training Institute. The event celebrated hard work, resilience, and academic excellence as graduates from various programs successfully completed their training.
The ceremony brought together students, parents, guardians, staff, and invited guests to honour the achievements of the graduating class and to officially confer certificates and diplomas in recognition of their dedication and commitment.
This graduation ceremony was graced by inspiring messages from the leadership of Konoin Technical Training Institute, delivered by the Chief Principal and the Chairman of the Board of Governors. Their addresses reflected on the institution’s growth, achievements, and future vision, while emphasizing discipline, integrity, professionalism, innovation, and the critical role of technical skills in national development. The messages also encouraged graduates to apply their training responsibly, remain adaptable lifelong learners, and proudly serve as ambassadors of Konoin TTI as they transition into employment, entrepreneurship, and service to society.
The Chief Principal highlighted the significant growth and transformation of Konoin Technical Training Institute since its establishment in 2017, noting increased student enrolment, improved infrastructure, and the successful implementation of the Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) curriculum. Graduates were encouraged to uphold discipline, integrity, and innovation, embrace lifelong learning, and apply their skills responsibly as they transition into employment, entrepreneurship, and service to society.
The Chairman of the Board of Governors reflected on the institute’s journey from humble beginnings to a growing centre of technical excellence, acknowledging the vital support of the Government of Kenya, the Ministry of Education, and the local community. He highlighted ongoing and future priorities including infrastructure expansion, industry linkages, adoption of emerging technologies, and continuous improvement in technical training.
