The mode of delivery for both diploma and certificate programmes includes:
- Structured coursework for foundational knowledge
- Project work to build analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fieldwork and industrial attachments in NGOs, government agencies, and community-based organizations
All courses follow the KNEC modular system, with diploma programmes divided into three modules (I, II & III) and certificates into two modules (I & II). Certificate graduates can advance directly into Module II of the diploma level. This progression ensures that trainees develop from support-level staff to supervisory and leadership roles in social and community development.
