Examination Officer

Mr. Charles Oiro

Message from the Examination Officer

Examinations are a key component in any academic institution.  They regularly and deliberately test candidates’ comprehension, understanding and ability in the various taught units.  At the culmination of it all, a certificate is awarded as proof that the recipient has satisfied all academic requirements largely by passing all examinations.

The college has a strong internal evaluation policy consisting of two CATS of 20% each and an end of term exam constituting 60% for each of the subjects covered during the term. The examinations contain both theory and practical component for technology and engineering courses. Assignments are given by the subject lecturers to reinforce the topics covered.

All trainees are expected to undertake industrial attachment in the relevant industries/firms/fields, be assessed and marks forwarded for final grading and entry in their transcripts by the examining body. External/final examinations are conducted by KNEC and KASNEB and/or any other recognized examining bodies during the marks of July and November.

Our first/pioneer candidates will be enrolled in the November series examinations 2018 for the following courses:-

  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Building Technology
  • Food and Beverage Production, Sales and Service management
  • Fashion Design and Clothing Technology
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Information Communication Technology
  • Social Work and Community Development

We hope to increase our enrollment and variety of courses offered with an aim of producing products who will be able to favourably complete in the employment world and be valuable to the society as a whole. All this is anchored and driven by a strong believe that service to humanity is service to God.

God bless Konoin TTI community.

Thank you
